Louise Chavannes is starting a new class in watercolour on Wednesday mornings from the Autumn Term 208.
Louise has been running workshops for over 10 years in Northumberland and Sussex as well as in France, Spain and Portugal. She says that this "will not be a typical watercolour class", and she tailors her classes to suit the needs of pupils, though she finds that the occasional botanical session can be beneficial. She teaches using demonstration, but believes in encouraging students to work in their own individual styles and thinks that people are inspired by the variety of work produced in a group.
