The Paddoc Studios is a thriving independent art centre based in Lewes, East Sussex providing:

  • Expert Tuition
  • 14 Classes and Workshops weekly
  • Weekend Workshops
  • Summer Schools
  • Beautiful large garden for outdoor painting and relaxing
  • Visiting Speakers
  • Two Exhibitions a year of Students’ Work

The studio is owned by its members and is run as Lewes & District Visual Arts Association (LADVAA). New members are always welcome. Tutors hire the Studio privately and set their own fees for their individual classes. A voluntary committee of trustees arranges maintenance and administration who work hard to continue the ethos of the founder Cecil Heathfield’s ideals. (see more in The Story of Paddock Studios)

Parking is limited but there is room for a few cars. We're within easy walking distance of the centre of Lewes (see Find Us). There is no wheelchair access but we have a chairlift to the main Studio.
